To provide the MangaPet experience, we collect specific types of information:

• Google Account Data: When you sign in with Google, we access your name, email address, and profile photo from your Google Account. Your name and profile photo are used to personalize your dashboard, and your email address is used for account identification, login, and service notifications.
• User Content: Primarily, the photos you upload. These are used exclusively to train and generate your custom manga characters.
• Process Data: Information about the manga stories you create, including synopses, character names, and generated artwork.

Your data is used to fuel the creative experience:

• AI Generation: We process your photos using secure AI models to create character sheets and interior manga panels that maintain your identity.
• Communication: We use your email to send "Book Ready" notifications, payment receipts, and critical account updates.
• App Functionality: Saving your progress and ensuring your books are accessible across all your devices.

MangaPet's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We only request access to your basic Google Account profile (name, email, and profile photo). We do not request access to any sensitive or restricted Google API scopes. Your Google Account data is used solely for the purposes described in this policy and is not shared with third parties for advertising, data brokerage, or any purpose unrelated to providing the MangaPet service.

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with our site. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit the site, what pages they visit, and what other sites they used prior to coming to our site. We use this information solely to improve our service.

Google Analytics collects the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit our site, but not your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Google's ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy.

Security is built into every step of our technical architecture:

• Stripe Integration: All payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card numbers or sensitive financial data.
• Encrypted Storage: We use industry-standard encryption protocols and secure cloud databases to protect your uploaded assets and account data, both in transit and at rest.
• No Data Selling: We never sell, trade, or transfer your personal information or Google user data to third parties for advertising, marketing, data brokerage, or any purpose unrelated to providing the MangaPet service.

We partner with trusted services to deliver our mission:

• Google Auth: For secure and easy account access. Subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
• AI Model Providers: We use industry-standard AI platforms to generate artwork; these providers only receive the data necessary for processing your specific requests. Google Account data is not shared with AI providers.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Your data is hosted on secure, world-class servers maintained by our infrastructure partners.
• Google Analytics: For aggregated, anonymized site usage analytics as described in the Cookies & Analytics section above.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. If you request account deletion:

• Your account will be deactivated immediately upon request.
• All personal data — including your Google Account information (name, email, profile photo), uploaded photos, and generated manga content — will be permanently removed from our active databases within 30 days.
• Residual copies that may exist in encrypted backups will be purged through normal backup rotation cycles.

You are in control of your digital pets and stories:

• Access & Deletion: You can request to access, correct, or delete your account and all associated data at any time through our contact page.
• Content Ownership: You retain ownership of the original characters based on your identity, and we grant you a broad license to use and share your generated manga.
• Google Data Revocation: You can revoke MangaPet's access to your Google Account data at any time through your Google Account permissions.

MangaPet is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information promptly. If you believe that a child under 13 may have provided us with personal information, please contact us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top. Your continued use of MangaPet after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
